The DF Legal Secretariat has intensified inspection of businesses in the Federal District. The aim is to verify compliance with the law that prohibits the use of packaging based on non-biodegradable materials. 800 establishments have already been visited. In the first phase, the visits are educational. After three months, traders who do not comply with the measures can be fined up to R$ 11,000.
