Noa Tzur from Kfar Saba, a girl who doesn’t have Tiktok, who has never seen an episode of reality TV, whose passion is to be an astrophysicist, who fantasizes about the northern lights, the moon and the sun and the stars, plays the piano and paints, is now publishing an excellent adventure book.
The story began when Noa Tzur from Kfar Saba was 13 years old. She “swallowed” the “Seven Wonders” book series by Peter Laranges and soon, and to her surprise, won herself the eighth wonder. This American hit series starred in the New York Times bestseller in the youth category. Its author is considered a successful shadow writer and one who has written dozens of books, as well as part of the Three Detectives and Benny Hardy series and books based on movies such as Sleepy Hollow and The Sixth Sense.
The Israeli girl told Regence that one of the characters he created was exactly like her, and asked him how he thought about the characters. To her surprise, he answered her with a long and detailed email, the bottom line of which was: As soon as I started writing, the characters came to life and started whispering to me what to do. They actually directed my way.
Inspired by him, 13-year-old Noa Tzur began to write “Hidden Doors”. Its protagonist is Eddie, a boy who went to the grocery store for a moment, not knowing that on the way back his life would change. He is kidnapped and thrown into a truck, along with four other boys and girls. where are they going Why were they kidnapped? Who kidnapped them – and why them? The boys are dragged into a hair-raising adventure that will bring them closer, while facing difficulties, self-discovery, friendship, sacrifice and longing.
The book, says Noa, grew up with me. The characters, she says, just like in the case of her childhood hero Peter Larangis, wrote themselves. Her friends entered the book. Straight characters, rounded, filled out, simple situations became complex, along with her growth from a 13-year-old girl to an impressive 17-year-old girl, her characters also grew with her. She talks about reality, about space, about dreams, about friendship, and about love and the book itself is a rare act of a 17-year-old girl. It is an adventure story during which the heroes of the book grew up and changed, and 13-year-old Noa Tzur also grew with them and changed.
