Patricia Chirinos requests that the Judiciary dictate restrictive measures to prevent the escape of Betssy Chávez and others

by time news

Congresswoman Patricia Chirinos (Avanza País), asked the president of Congress, José Williams, to request the Judiciary to order restrictive measures against the former prime minister, Betssy Chávez and the former ministers Willy Huerta (Interior) and Roberto Sánchez (Foreign Trade and Tourism), to prevent them from fleeing the country.

The request is made after the Subcommittee on Constitutional Accusations approved the constitutional denunciation that accuses the former high officials of having supported the self-coup attempt by the former president, Pedro Castillo.

Previously, Chirinos had requested that immigration alerts be activated to prevent these former Cabinet members from requesting political asylum in a country related to the former president.
