Kamakura and Chef Ilya Goldman are celebrating 3 years of the restaurant in a series of Kaiseki meals with the most respected chefs in Israel.

The “Kamakura” restaurant located in the prestigious boutique hotel Indigo in the stock market complex in Ramat Gan is celebrating 3 years since its founding with a series of kaisky meals with chef Ilya Goldman, inspired by the kaisky tradition – a tasting meal that emphasizes hospitality, attention to design and special flavors
This month, Goldman chose to host Chef Eil Lavi for two joint meals on Tuesday and Wednesday 3/14-15. The meal will be accompanied by selected wines specially adapted to the dishes by the winemaker (Master of Wine) Ido Levinson.

Eyal Lavi specializes in French-Mediterranean cuisine, with an emphasis on haute bistro cuisine. Lavi, who has starred in a series of successful restaurants such as a seafood bar in Herzliya, Pastis on Sderot Rothschild and Pharmacist 73 in Tel Aviv, comes to Kamakura, which is based on meaty Japanese cuisine. Together they created a particularly creative tasting meal on the Tokyo Provence line.

At the shared kaiseki dinner, the pair of chefs will serve an 8-course tasting menu, For example, one of Lavie’s most famous dishes – the boyabs, has received a Japanese twist and is served with sea fish, boyabs dashi, seaweed salad and fennel vinaigrette yuzu, nori tempura and wasabi aioli.
Another taste from the menu is asparagus in goma sauce, soft egg, purikake and crispy kale and a dessert that is a colorful combination of the two cuisines – berry panna cotta, pickled kumquat, mandarin jelly, white chocolate streusel and micro shiso.
