The Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir reacted sharply this evening (Wednesday) to the letter of the retired commissioners and superintendents, who demanded his removal from the position.

“All the failed officers who united together, after destroying the police, destroyed national security and committed corruption that was reflected in the conclusions of the committees in their case – now demand that Itamar Ben Gabir be fired,” said the minister.

“No one chose them or asked for their help. I was chosen by the people of Israel and I only serve them. All those officers would do well if they went home and stopped interfering.”
