The appeals chamber of the TSJ of Catalonia has partially upheld the appeal filed, in the hearing held on February 28, for a defendant convicted of having killed his sister in Terrassa.

The ruling partially upholds the appeal and revokes and annuls the ban on communication and approaching his mother and relatives, as agreed in the initial ruling. The rest of the pronouncements of the jury’s sentence stand.

The jury that sentenced a man to 18 years in prison for the crime of murder. The events occurred in August 2020 in Terrassa when the defendant killed his sister by stabbing her multiple times in the family home where they lived, taking advantage of the victim’s state of defenselessness and drunkenness.
