A young woman smoking a cigarette in the lavatory of an Indigo flight that arrived in Bengaluru caused a stir

An Indigo flight number 6E716 has arrived from Kolkata, West Bengal to Bengaluru. When the flight has 30 minutes to land, the employee checks the flight lavatory.

At that time, it was found that a cigarette was lying in the garbage bin. For safety reasons, the employee immediately poured water and turned it off.

Priyanka Chakraborty, a 24-year-old girl from Sealda, Kolkata, is said to have left the burnt cigarette after smoking in the plane’s lavatory.

Following this, Priyanka was handed over to the police when the Indigo flight landed at the Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru.

Police have registered a case on the allegation of endangering the life and personal safety of other passengers on the flight. After that, the girl was taken into custody. A full investigation into the incident is underway.

In November last year, a man on an Air India flight from New York City to Delhi, while drunk, urinated on a fellow female passenger was talked about a lot. The man identified as Shankar Mishra was arrested.

Following this, Air India was fined Rs.30 lakh. The pilot’s license has been suspended. Following this, Air India has tightened the rules for passengers.
