Congress repeals the decree on the mandatory use of the mask

Tegucigalpa, Honduras.- In the legislative session this Wednesday night, the congressmen unanimously eliminated the mandatory use of the mask at the national level.

Agreement number 58-2020, which stipulates the mandatory use of the mask, was repealed with 84 votes in favor. Only 14 of the congressmen abstained from voting.

However, the commission ruled that it will continue to be used in health centers, hospitals, clinics, laboratories, schools with poor ventilation and closed places.
