REE Automotive Company revealed today (Thursday) about a strategic move in the automobile market in the United States. The company signed a series of Business collaborations with authorized car distributors in the United States that will offer their customers electric cars based on the REE flat chassis platform. The focus will be on vehicle maintenance companies interested in making the transition to electric commercial vehicle fleets.

The company intends to resume supplying vehicles to distributors in the fourth quarter of 2023. REE will offer training to distributors in order to enable their vehicle technicians to provide service in vehicles based on its platform, where the suspension, engine, steering system, brakes, sensors, temperature control systems and all electronic systems are integrated in four The “corners” of the vehicle, between the chassis and the wheel and inside the wheel.

REE has signed agreements with four distributors: Pritchard EVa national distributor and subsidiary of the Pritchard Companies car dealership Tom’s Truck Center Southern California, Inc Industrial Power & Truck Equipment (IPT) and-New England Truck Solutions (NETS).

From vehicle platforms to complete vehicles

in parallel, REE has signed an agreement with Mitsubishi HC Capital America, which will provide tailored financing solutions to distributors in REE’s distribution network. According to the company, the agreement aims to streamline the process of obtaining the financing required to purchase these vehicles. In addition, Mitsubishi HC Capital will leverage existing partnerships to increase REE’s distribution network in North America.

REE will provide distributors with two models of complete vehicles: the P7-B and the Proxim. These are finished vehicles that are based on REE’s P7 flat chassis platform. They were recently launched and built together with two American suppliers, Morgen Olson) and EAVX, which specialize in the production of vehicle bodies. The P7-B is a delivery truck capable of carrying a load of 2 tons, reaches a maximum speed of 120 km/h, and has a maximum range of 241 km. The Proxima model is a commercial van capable of carrying a load of 4 tons, reaches a maximum cruising speed of 130 km/h and a travel range of up to 600 km when fully charged.
