A man lost his life after allegedly losing consciousness and suffering a fall inside a bar located in the downtown area of the city of Gómez Palacio.
The events occurred around 5:30 p.m. last Wednesday in an establishment located on Independencia Street, almost on the corner of Aldama Avenue in the aforementioned sector.
The deceased today was identified as Ramón Valles Mata, 42 years old, residing in the Álamos Infonavit neighborhood of this municipality.
The first versions indicated that the man was drinking intoxicating drinks when at one point he lost consciousness and fell from a bench where he was sitting.
Those in charge of the place tried to help him and reported the facts by means of a telephone call to the state 911 emergency system.
Red Cross paramedics arrived at the scene to check the man and They confirmed that he no longer had vital signs.
Elements of the different state and municipal security corporations guarded the area until the arrival of the expert services.
The Investigative Agent of the Public Ministrywas in charge of taking notice of the death.
The body was sent to the facilities of the forensic medical service so that a legal necropsy could be performed, same that will show the specific causes of death.
The Deputy Attorney General of the State of Durango, Laguna Region, opened a file in this regard to determine how the events occurred, as well as to verify if it was a medical situation or an accident.
It is expected that in the next few hours the remains will be delivered to their relatives for the corresponding funeral services.
