Former minister D. Jayakumar said that the AIADMK-BJP alliance will continue.
After the AIADMK district secretaries’ meeting held in Chennai on Thursday, D. Jayakumar told reporters:
The DMK government has not implemented any schemes since taking over. A meeting of district secretaries was held to suggest that it should be brought to the attention of the people.
BJP burning effigy of Edappadi Palaniswami is condemnable. BJP should not be involved in such activities. Those involved in this matter should be removed from BJP.
There is no problem between AIADMK and BJP. Our alliance will continue under the leadership of the BJP as a National Democratic Alliance on an all-India level, and under the leadership of the AIADMK as far as Tamil Nadu is concerned.
No one else can be born like Jayalalithaa. He has no equal.
The party will decide on the conduct of AIADMK general secretary election. He said that the information will come in due time.
