The company from Nové Zámky lights up the world’s metropolises

by time news

Business in the field of lighting technology, engineering production and international transport are the three pillars on which the company Orgeco from Nové Zámky builds its existence and development. As part of lighting technology, Orgeco designs lighting systems for interiors and exteriors, in addition, it represents important manufacturers of lighting technology and supplies lamps for the implementation of created projects.

The dominant activity in this area is the production of festive lighting decorations, which are used for Christmas decorations in towns, villages, shopping centers or pedestrian areas. The company also produces decorations for the Easter holidays.

Export orientation

Up to 95 percent of the manufactured decorations are exported by the company abroad. She started their production already in the first half of the 90s. She made the skeletons of the decorations from steel profiles, the production was laborious, complex and time-consuming, as the surface treatment was carried out by hot-dip galvanizing. This is also why the company realized that without a new solution and investment inputs, it would not be possible to ensure the development of production.

“We came to the conclusion that we have to produce decor skeletons differently than our competition. After a value analysis, the solution was to replace the steel profiles with aluminum profiles. The solution was timeless, the decors were lighter, strong enough, there was no need for surface treatment and they were also competitively priced. We have acquired a new partner and a contract that has contributed to the company’s development in the long term,” Orgeco CEO Ernest Haris tells TREND.
