The police have said that the body of a youth with cut injuries has been recovered from Vavuniya.
The Poovarasangulam police were informed last night about the dead body of a youth in Vavuniya Poovarasangulam Maniarkulam area.
After that, the police reached the spot and recovered the dead body and started intensive investigations.

According to the police, 28-year-old Sakthivel Yashodaran from Poovarasangulam Nithiyanagar area died in the incident. Cut wounds were also observed on the dead body of the youth.
In this case, the police suspecting that this may be a murder due to intoxication, the police have arrested five suspects who are suspected to be related to the incident.
