Police officers from the 7th BPM (São Gonçalo) arrested drug dealer Jerônimo Francisco Fernandes Júnior, 31, known as “Pirate”, during an approach near the community of Coruja, in São Gonçalo, in the metropolitan region of Rio. The criminal was released in December 2021.

According to the agents, the criminal, considered a fugitive from justice and the head of drug trafficking in the Rua da Feira and Corea communities, in Barro Vermelho, was located after an anonymous tip, last Tuesday (7).

According to information, Pirata did not respect an order to stop the agents and started to flee the scene. He then crashed the vehicle into a pole at the entrance to the Coruja community, on Rua Nossa Senhora de Fátima.

Jerônimo Francisco, cousin of drug dealer Leilson Ferreira Fernandes, “Pivete”, killed in a confrontation with the Police in September 2021, was arrested in 2017, on charges of homicide and drug trafficking, and released in December 2021.

The drug dealer was sent to the 73rd DP (Neves).
