The film, which will become the first film in history to be recorded in space, has been shot on the International Space Station, 400 kilometers away from our planet.

The Challenge tells the story of a surgeon named Zhenya, who will have to travel to the Station to save the life of an astronaut who has been injured during a space walk. The actress who gives life to Zhenya, Yulia Peresild, not only had to do the typical audition to win the role, but also had to pass a multitude of physical and psychological tests to verify that she could travel to space to record under the harsh conditions of the International Space Station.
