Security cooperation is a key pillar
Bilateral security cooperation is one of the most important pillars of bilateral relations.
Today we talked about maritime security in the Indo-Pacific region and increasing bilateral military and defense cooperation.
We also discussed mutual cooperation to develop reliable and robust global supply chains.

Prime Minister Modi and I have agreed to conclude the India-Australia Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement as soon as possible. I believe it can be finalized this year itself.
Our country’s relationship with India is multifaceted. I am looking forward to Prime Minister Modi coming to Australia for the ‘Quad’ Summit in May. I am also looking forward to coming back here for the G-20 summit in September.
