Kevin and Géza’s wedding above Budapest – BLUSH WEDDING DECOR

by time news

Kevin and Géza chose two locations in Budapest with the most beautiful panoramas as the venue for their wedding. Both the Mariott Hotel and the Fisherman’s Bastion provide an amazing backdrop for a wedding, so we created the decoration to complement the atmosphere of the two locations. The couple wanted the end result to be clean and elegant, and the color palette would be dominated by white, complemented by very little pale pink. Since it was only a September wedding, we used olive green tablecloths to make the decoration more autumnal.

We used gold accessories in the decoration, such as gold goblets and candle holders. The main flower decorations were complemented by smaller, pinned flower decorations. We put fragrant white hyacinths in elegant dark green vases. When creating the flower arrangements, we kept modern elegance and simplicity in mind. Therefore, we created the shape of the flower decorations in a correspondingly elongated shape, creating a slightly disordered effect.

In the elegant wedding decoration, we used a lot of glass accessories, which strengthened the classic character, while the modern elegance was displayed with the simple lines, high-gloss gold candle holders,

The graphic of the menu card – like the invitation – was created by a friend of the couple, the menu cards also functioned as seating cards for naming, so the focus was only on the decoration on the table.

The main table – as in every wedding – received a particularly rich floral decoration due to its prominent role. Here, too, we placed fragrant hyacinths among the pinned flower decorations, supplemented with countless small candles, which made the table delightfully cozy during the evening dinner.

On the terrace of the Liz and Chain skybar (on the 9th floor of the Mariott Hotel), we didn’t have to bother with background decoration or covering the walls, since looking around, a 180-degree panorama stretches out in front of the terrace; Budapest with its most beautiful attractions such as Gellért Hill, the Citadel or Buda Castle.

One of my favorite moments of the whole decorating/day was making the ceremony decorations. Although we have been to the Fisherman’s Bastion before, we are always enchanted by its atmosphere and the unique view of the city, not to mention the Mariott Hotel, where the celebratory dinner was held.

I am very happy that I could be a part of this wedding, because I especially like weddings with a small number of people, but with an even more exclusive organization and execution, like this one.
