Dozens of tractors are headed for The Hague but are stopped by police, NOS says. This morning the municipality issued an emergency ordinance in the city to avoid disruption of public order, the municipality decided to install flexible road barriers to prevent protesters from entering the center.

The flexible checkpoints to prevent protesters to enter the center with their tractors have been positioned and the police announce, if the situation requires it, that they want to close the A12.

The activists of Farmers Defense Force (FDF) and Samen voor Nederland (SvNL) want to demonstrate this afternoon in Zuiderpark against the nitrogen policy, but also against the slow handling of the reparations issue in Groningen.

Despite the emergency order, this morning dozens of tractors crossed the Erasmus bridge towards The Hague: the municipal ordinance prohibits a large number of tractors but accepts a limited number.

Day of fire in The Hague: Extinction Rebellion climate activists want to block the A12 in the center and the march will take place while the Boeren march takes place. The municipality of The Hague says the announced blockade was not called ahead: activists were told they could demonstrate on Laan van Reagan en Gorbachev near the Koekamp between noon and 6pm.
