The hummus offer in the supermarket is large. However, the quality usually leaves much to be desired. That is the conclusion of Lori Dardikman (28) and Tom Sas (42) of the Israeli deli Bokor Tov. They tested ten types of supermarket hummus. “There are a few brands that taste pretty good. But even then, the quality cannot be compared to that of freshly made hummus. We would only bring one brand in-house.”
