Atera, which developed a cloud-based remote management and control platform for IT professionals, announces a collaboration and integration with ESET, a global leader in the field of digital security. The partnership will enable Atera’s IT community to easily introduce advanced anti-malware solutions to protect their customers.

“As cyber attacks increase in sophistication and frequency, it is important that we cooperate with experts in the field such as ESET, in order to proactively protect against attacks and possible dangers, and to ensure that our customers are protected from all directions in preparation for any attack.” says Gil Pekelman, CEO of Atera.

“ESET’s multi-layered approach to detecting threats, as well as responding to them, includes threat intelligence detection, endpoint detection and advanced cloud sandbox environments. All of these will allow our customers to minimize the options for attack and deal with the growing number of threats. The resulting integration is a tremendous opportunity for Atera and its customers,” he adds.

ESET provides advanced security solutions for managed service providers (MSPs) and IT professionals. The cloud-based, serverless solution allows IT professionals to automate and continuously protect essential assets on Atera’s platform. Through the integration, threat monitoring and intelligence are enabled in real time, creating protection against malware. In this way, Atera will be able to protect its customers: businesses of all fields and sizes, from small businesses to huge corporations.

“We have been very impressed with the growth of Atera, and we are happy to collaborate with the company, which was created with the aim of supporting the needs of IT professionals all over the world.” says Ryan Grant, VP of sales in the North American division at ESET.

“The Atera development team has worked tirelessly to ensure a best-in-class integration that reduces complexity, creates proactive threat detection and response, and thereby improves the user experience for IT.”

The integration will allow users to activate, provision and display ESET’s products directly through Atera, making it easier to use, from within the platform. Atera customers will get access to the ESET dashboard, which includes license management, detailed reporting and customer site management capabilities. IT professionals using Atera have the option to choose from four packages of solutions: ESET PROTECT Entry, ESET PROTECT Advanced, ESET PROTECT Compete, ESET PROTECT Enterprise. All of these constitute advanced and customized security solutions for customers, and include endpoint security, detection and response, file security and email services, mobile phone security and more.

Atera recently announced a new integration with OpenAI, which helps users create scripts automatically, in order to help and facilitate the execution of processes that without the collaboration would burden IT teams. In the future, Atera will continue to play a central and significant role in the management, protection and automation of IT departments and various IT processes through the many integrations offered today through the Atera Marketplace.

Atera has developed a remote monitoring and management (RMM) system and a platform that provides professional services automation (PSA), built with an ambition to produce a workforce from Ford. With more than 11,000 customers spread over more than 105 countries, Atera’s intuitive all-in-one platform offers professional IT services that enable business activity to be streamlined, seamless integrations and transparency across multiple systems at the same time, end-to-end. Atera’s platform empowers IT teams of various sizes, in order to maximize efficiency, organizational growth and improvements while streamlining the remote work environment.
