After he posted on his Twitter account that he recommends Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu not to come to Berlin on Wednesday, two police officers arrived at the home of time journalist Uri Meshgav.
Ha’aretz journalist Josh Breiner published a document of the arrival of the police and wrote: “Did you want the Ben Gabir police? Police were waiting for journalist Uri Mashgav’s friends under his house in Jaffa this evening and asked him, “What did he mean by tweeting about Netanyahu and Berlin?” Who sent you asked Mashgav. “The situation is sensitive “, replied the policemen, and after an investigation in the field about a journalist’s tweet they will be released. Just saying: these intimidations will not help.”

I am also quite connected there. And I really suggest to the dictator to cancel the trip to Berlin on the Wednesday. It is not worth it. My word.”
After the incident with the police, Mashgav obeyed: “We apologize for the delay. On the way to Kaplan. Two cute policemen were waiting for me under the house to question me about a tweet regarding the planned protest in Berlin. Come back and advise the dictator and his wife not to go there due to a democratic protest that awaits them.”
