RIYADH: School holidays have been announced in various parts of Saudi Arabia following the announcement that the weather will be bad tomorrow. Sunday (March 12, 2023) has been declared a holiday in Makkah, Albaha, Jeddah, Rabigh, Khulaiz, Taif, Al Namaz, Mahdudahab, Khunfuda and Hail.

The action was taken after receiving a notification from the Saudi National Meteorological Center that the weather is likely to worsen. The school authorities informed that there will be holiday for teachers and non-teachers and at the same time learning will be done remotely.

Working hours of schools in UAE announced during Ramadan
Dubai: Working hours for private schools in Dubai announced during Ramadan. The instructions given by the authorities are that the daily study time should not exceed five hours. The Dubai Knowledge and Human Development Authority, which is in charge of regulating private schools in Dubai, issued a notification in this regard on Friday.

Schools are allowed to fix their working hours so that they do not exceed five hours. Some schools have adjusted accordingly to 7.45am to 12.45pm Monday to Thursday and regular school hours on Friday. At the same time, some schools have informed that they will fix the schedule after consulting with the parents.
