A man was killed tonight in a fire in an apartment on Maafili Agoz Street in Tel Aviv. Many fire crews from the Tel Aviv-Jaffa station were called to the scene with the assistance of additional teams from the Dan district stations. Several people evacuated the building independently and several more trapped people were rescued by the fire brigade. Among those trapped as mentioned, one person was found who was pronounced dead on the spot.
Heavy damage was caused to the apartment and the fire brigade managed to control the fire. After several scans, more trapped people were ruled out. Also, a fire investigator was summoned to the scene to examine the circumstances of the fire in the apartment.
