Women’s National Football Championship: Manipur beats Railways

Kozhikode: Manipur won the National Senior Women’s Football Championship. Manipur beat Railways 3-2 in a penalty shootout to clinch the title. This is Manipur’s 21st title.

This is the first time that the National Senior Women’s Football Championship is being held in Kerala. The championship was held at Kozhikode, Kannur and Malappuram.

The matches were played at Kozhikode Corporation Stadium, Olympian Rahman Stadium, Koothuparamba Municipal Stadium and Calicut University Ground.
