The concomitance of the facts is troubling. But at this stage of the investigation, no formal link emerges at first glance, apart from geographical proximity. During the night of this Saturday to Sunday, two men were wounded by bullets, one in Villejuif, the second presented himself to a private hospital in Thiais. “Two people were injured by bullets and two investigations were entrusted to the judicial police of Val-de-Marne”, simply specifies the parquet floor of Créteil.
The police intervened for the first time, a little before 11 p.m. A man in his thirties took refuge in a shisha bar in Villejuif after being injured by a shooter in the street. The victim had just got out of his vehicle when an unknown person allegedly shot him twice, wounding him in the arm and around the pelvis.
Despite his injuries, the victim managed to take refuge in the bar. A third shot would have taken place. The staff immediately notified the emergency services and the police. The victim, whose vital prognosis is not engaged, was evacuated under good escort to a hospital in the Ile-de-France region for surgery.
The seat of the car stained with blood
An hour later, in the neighboring town, in Thiais, it was the doctors who called the police directly. A man has just arrived at the establishment and has a gunshot wound. His car is not difficult to spot for the police. They discover it, parked close to the hospital, the driver’s seat stained with blood.
According to the first elements, he was shot at, for no apparent reason, while he was driving quietly. He declined to tell investigators more. His days are not in danger. In addition to an impact at the height of the front driver, a bullet also passed through the bodywork at the height of the rear.
Are the two cases related? It remains to exploit the CCTV images possibly making it possible to link the vehicle of the second victim to the shots near the bar. The police have already collected testimonies evoking one or more shootings at Thiais the previous night. Settlement of accounts, error on the person…? All hypotheses are considered.
