The wardrobe is full, you don’t want to buy anything new, but you’re running out of outfit ideas? We have a few tips, fresh from Milan and Paris.

1. Of the Pseudo-Cape
Our tops have been getting bigger and bigger for a number of years – and the oversized trend is far from over. But how can it be reconciled with the new chic that avant-garde fashion has just captured and that can also be observed in the new collections of the great designers? How can the huge coat or the XXL bomber jacket in our closet now become an elegant robe? Very simple: you wear the large pieces like a cape. So just hang the good piece over your shoulders – et voilà, here comes the diva. Do you find it impractical because the outerwear could slide down your back when you move? The solution: just fasten the top button that coats have anyway—and so do many jackets. This keeps the look stable.
2. The jacket twist
Do you remember the American band Kriss Kross, who made pop history in the early 90s with the hit “Jump”? In the accompanying music video, the two rappers jumped around the set in jeans worn backwards. Back pockets, zipper at the back – this trend wasn’t worth a penny in everyday life and couldn’t catch on. Turn your jacket, cardigan or blouse around and we’ll get back to talking. A top can stay in place during the day, while pants have to be opened and closed constantly for well-known reasons. On the streets of Paris and Milan, people are already busy establishing this trend. The chances for a breakthrough are good, because in addition to the formidable wearability, the following also applies: A button strip on the back can be delightful.
3. The fashion glasses
In many current collections, in addition to the obligatory bags, countless glasses have been seen on the models’ noses over the past few weeks. Doesn’t that sound surprising? Well, that may be true for sunglasses. What was special, however, was that in many of the frames there were semi-transparent to completely transparent glasses. A sight that was very reminiscent of good old glasses. The stylists sometimes combined these glasses with extremely elegant dresses – and that’s the important thing. The vehicle of the visually impaired was thus lifted into the context of going out. So stop tormenting your eyes with contact lenses at the next party or gala, but wear your visual aids as a fashion accessory, because you’ll be at the forefront with them. Just pay attention to the size and shape of the frame: the glasses should be large and sleek. Of course, the nerd look with a dark horn frame is always possible.
