A huge gap between the suffering of families and the help they receive. The public service is in serious difficulty in assisting non self-sufficient elderly people and has been discussing reforms without success for years. Indeed, the public offer is getting worse and worse and the private one remains a luxury for the few, given the costs. The center of the problem is the RSA, the nursing homes.
