Bolsonaro’s defense wants to use Janja’s lives in the TSE process

by time news

The defense of former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) in the processes he faces at the TSE (Superior Electoral Court) intends to use as one of his arguments the lives that the first lady, Rosângela da Silva, Janja, started to do on TV Brazil.

The most advanced process to which Bolsonaro responds refers to the meeting he promoted at the Palácio da Alvorada with foreign ambassadors last year, when he questioned the legitimacy of electronic voting machines.

One of the points that reinforce the accusation is the fact that the event was broadcast by the official government broadcaster.

The thesis of Bolsonaro’s defenders is that the use of the TV channel for events of interest to the Executive is common to all governments, and that the former president has not done anything irregular.

Janja’s participation in the broadcaster would reinforce this fact and must be mentioned in the final allegations of the process, which must be judged later this semester and may make Bolsonaro ineligible.
