Washington: The United States has offered to provide nuclear-powered submarines to Australia to dominate the Asia Pacific region and counter China’s encroachments. To ensure the security of the Pacific Ocean region, a defense agreement called ‘Acus’ was signed in 2021 between the United States, Australia and Britain. These countries share various defense technologies based on this agreement.

In this regard, the country has decided to give nuclear submarines manufactured by the United States to Australia.

These types of submarines are capable of traveling underwater for longer and longer distances than conventional submarines.

Officials said that these submarines, which will be equipped with various modern technologies, will be delivered to Australia in 2030.

The US has decided to supply these nuclear powered submarines to Australia to dominate the Asia Pacific region and counter China’s encroachments.

Meanwhile, US President Joe Biden, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak are meeting in the US today.
