The Renault Captur silently left the Argentine market, no longer being offered in the neighboring country, reinforcing suspicions that its production will not go ahead with the parts crisis that affects the French company.
After six years in the Argentine market, the Captur leaves the scene due to the non-production of the vehicle in São José dos Pinhais, Paraná, due to lack of parts and components for the model, launched in 2016.
Around here, what is sold for the Captur is what is left in stock and it is so low that the Renault crossover does not even appear among the 40 most sold in February, having sold 27 units according to Renavam.
His configurator continues to work, unlike Logan, another one that is on the scaffold and that sold only 54 units in February.
In Colombia, only 26 units of the model were sold in February, but the model is still in the catalog, indicating that there are units in stock.
Having registered an abrupt drop in volumes produced in 2022, partly due to the departure of Renault from Russia, whose extinct Kaptur model shared several parts with the Brazilian, things got complicated.
