normal traffic this Tuesday March 14 at the RATP, disruptions expected at the SNCF

by time news

As the renewable strike continues, traffic conditions continue to improve for travellers.

The renewable strike in rail transport, to protest against the pension reform, seems to be running out of steam somewhat. This Tuesday, the eve of a new day of interprofessional mobilization, the RATP expects difficulties concentrated on the RER only, the rest of the network operating normally. For its part, the SNCF remains marked by the social movement. Le Figaro provides an update on the latest traffic forecasts communicated on Monday by the two companies.

At the SNCF

This Tuesday, the disruptions expected on the SNCF network are similar to those observed on Monday. In detail, the group plans to operate three TGV Inoui out of five, as well as three Ouigo out of five. The difficulties will be even more sensitive on the side of the TER – one in two will only circulate, on average – and Intercities: only one in three is scheduled this Tuesday during the day, and none at night.

In Île-de-France, the rail group plans to run three out of four trains on lines A, E, N and P, two out of three trains on lines C, H, J and L, one out of two trains on the RER B and two trains out of five, on average, on lines D and R. Traffic will also be normal on lines K, U, as well as on trams T11 and T4, notes the company.

AT RATP

For its part, the RATP expects normal traffic on the metros, buses, trams, as well as on the Orlyval. The traffic will bealmost normal” on the RER A side, with three out of four trains and an interconnection maintained at Nanterre Prefecture, but there will remain “disturbed» on the RER B: on this line, two trains out of three are planned, and the interconnection is maintained at Gare du Nord.
