The quarter-final series of the Women’s Premier League playoffs came out today (Thursday) with three victories for the host teams, and one more for the guest: Maccabi Haifa, Hapoel KPF’s and Maccabi Ashdod kept the house, and Maccabi Hadera beat Hapoel Kiryat Ata in the meeting in the Gulf.
Maccabi Haifa – Maccabi Tel Aviv 0:3 (14:25, 16:25, 23:25)
The first two sets went easily to the champion, when in the third set the players of Noam Elbaz woke up. The Yellows almost managed to narrow the difference in the sets and return to the game, but in the end Haifa also won the third set, and the Haifaites will go to the next game in the series with a 0:1 advantage in the series.
Hapoel Kfar Saba – MS Ayilbon 0:3 (20:25, 15:25, 15:25)
An easy victory for Kfar Sabayot who, despite a balanced first set, demonstrated dominance throughout most of the stages of the game and dominated all the way to victory. Before the game, a ceremony was held in honor of the recruitment of Noam Aviv, a graduate of the club and the team’s player, and the next game in the series will take place this Saturday in Aylvon.
Hapoel Kiryat Ata – Maccabi Hadera 3:0 (25:17, 25:19, 25:13)
A significant victory for Hadera, who knew how to take advantage of the injury crisis in Kiryat Ata, to achieve a victory and steal the home team for the rest of the series. The next game will take place on Friday, this time at Hakaretiyot, and Kiryat Ata knows that it must win to stay alive.
Maccabi Ashdod – Maccabi Ra’anana 1:3 (23:25, 19:25, 25:16, 21:25)
A fascinating match took place tonight in Ashdod, when the host managed to take the first two sets, Ra’anana won the third, and after a tense fourth set, the cup holder managed to get a victory in the teeth. The next game in the series will take place on Friday at noon in the Hall of Bells in Ra’anana.
