The Joint Operations Force, in cooperation with the Customs Authority, managed to seize more than 450,000 tablets of the hallucinogenic substance “Icstasy” at the Misurata seaport.

The force stated in a statement that the shipment seized today, in addition to the shipment seized yesterday, amounts to more than 2 million and 50 thousand hallucination tablets.

Yesterday, Monday, the Customs Authority in the port of Misurata managed to seize one million and 700 thousand hallucinogenic pills in the port of Misurata.

This operation is considered one of the largest shipments of hallucinogenic pills, which were hidden in 2,400 cars inside a container coming from Belgium.

The grain was on cars transported by the ship “Grand Texas” coming from the port of Antwerp – Belgium, carrying the Italian flag and carrying about 2,400 cars.

The customs center of the Misurata sea port managed, in early March, to seize a large quantity of pistols, stressing that it would not tolerate smugglers.

The center stressed that it will strike with an iron fist anyone who begged him to try to smuggle and introduce contraband in all its forms, indicating that it remains an impenetrable bulwark and will not let down the people of the country despite the plots of the plotters and the cunning of the deceivers.

The spokesman for the Libyan Customs Authority, Major Fahmy al-Maqouri, confirmed the seizure of 12,000 “pistol” weapons in the Misrata sea port, in cooperation with the Misrata joint force.
