The Last of Us is one of HBO’s biggest bets for the first half of the year, and this series based on the Playstation game of the same name follows Joel (Pedro Pascal), a seasoned smuggler, as he transports a young woman, Ellie (Bella Ramsey), who is believed to have the cure for the fungal infection that ended the world.

The first season, which just wrapped up, took the narrative from the first game in the franchise, staying true to the heart of the games, making it one of the best adaptations of its kind to date.
Recently in a Collider magazine interview with Pascal to discuss his other television work as a father figure, The Mandalorian, the Disney series.
During their conversation about the third season of the production Star Wars universe, Pascal also discussed the continuity of The Last of Us later this year.
Is there a second season of “The Last of Us”?
Since he can’t reveal too much about the continuity of the project, Pascal responded with some sarcasm about the second season, but in the end, he went into detail: “Yes, there is a possibility. Yeah”.
Will the second season of The Last of Us follow the second game? It is one of the questions from the fans and, although the creators of the series have not officially declared it, it is assumed that it will follow in the footsteps of the video game.
