This is an evening organized by a local family to lift the spirits of their late son, who died suddenly at the age of 27.
The rabbi approached the lecturer, Daniel Asur. And he said to him: “Let me know that as part of the talk, you spoke out against the vaccines.”
When the lecturer replied in the affirmative, the rabbi asked him to stop and said: “I am the rabbi of the community here. “Our community is following in the footsteps of the great men of Israel – Rabbi Kanievsky, Rabbi Edelstein, Hacham Shalom Cohen, Rabbi Meir Mazuz – are reserved to be vaccinated.”
He added: “It is impossible for a respected lecturer like you to come into the community that follows in the footsteps of the great men of Israel who say to get vaccinated and speak to the public against the vaccines.”

Rabbi Assur insisted on not listening to the local rabbi.
