by time news

On February 17, 2023, Oleg Lebedev, a deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, submitted to the State Duma (DG) a draft amendment to the law “On Trade” (Z81-FZ), obliging dealers to sell cars at the recommended retail price (RRP). The document is placed in the legislative activity support system of the State Duma.

In addition, the project is supposed to prohibit dealers from installing additional equipment on a car until it is sold to the final buyer. This should exclude cases of imposing options on the purchaser of the vehicle, follows from the amendments.
