Rajya Sabha congratulates the Oscar winning team of “RRR” and “The Elephant Whisperers”!

Delhi: Oscar winners were felicitated in Rajya Sabha of Parliament. While the 2nd session of the budget session of the Parliament started yesterday, it was adjourned for the whole day due to continuous tension in both the Houses yesterday. The ruling party raised slogans demanding an apology from Rahul Gandhi for his speech on Indian democracy in London. Also, both the Houses were adjourned for the entire day yesterday as the opposition also protested.

In the Rajya Sabha, which started its second day today, members of the Rajya Sabha congratulated the Oscar winning team of “RRR” and “The Elephant Whisperers”. These achievements highlight the global appreciation for the talent, immense creativity and dedication of Indian artists. In fact this is another aspect of the global rise and recognition of our Indians,” Rajya Sabha President Jagdeep Thankar said.
