START DATE OF THE ELECTION CALENDAR (SATURDAY, MARCH 18th, 2023)
For presidential elections;
1- Suspension of data acquisition and updating from MERNIS, which is used for updating electoral rolls,
2- Starting the casting of the hanger lists of the headman’s district,
3- Defining the parameters of the Presidential Election and the General Election of the Deputy in SEÇSİS,
4- Starting to enter the lists containing the identity information of the detainees and convicts of negligent crimes in SEÇSİS upon request from the Office of the Chief Public Prosecutor and organizing the lists,
5- Announcement of the customs gates and foreign representations to vote,
6- Initiating the establishment of temporary county election boards abroad, ballot box boards abroad, storage and transportation boards (commissions) and counting and inventory boards (298/94-ACE),
For parliamentary elections;
1- The beginning of the submission of the alliance protocol containing the signatures of the leaders of the political parties that decided to participate in the elections by making an alliance to the Supreme Election Board (2839/12/A),

For presidential elections;
1- The start of candidacy applications to the Supreme Election Board by political parties for the presidential candidacy (6271/8),

For parliamentary elections;
1- The Supreme Election Board shall inform the provincial election boards in which electoral circles and with which principles and procedures the political parties will determine candidates, in order to be delivered to the relevant district election boards by the Office of the Chief Public Prosecutor of the Court of Cassation,
2- The Office of the Chief Public Prosecutor of the Court of Cassation begins sending the lists showing the members of the party who will vote in the primary election to the relevant district election boards (2820/42),
3- Starting the studies for the formation of pre-selection district election boards (The members of political parties who will take charge in the pre-selection district election boards should be determined from those who will not be candidates.) (2820/41),
MONDAY, MARCH 20, 2023
1- Headman’s district hanger lists,
2- Suspension of hanger lists for detainees and convicts of negligent offenses by district election boards to be updated and appeals begin (8:00 a.m.),
3- Announcement of the Overseas Electoral Register at www.ysk.gov.tr and start of objections (08.00 Turkish time),
4- Starting to query the voter registrations, which are prepared on the basis of building, on the www.ysk.gov.tr address of the Supreme Election Board (08:00),
5- By the General Directorate of Electoral Roll; Making access to political parties via the SEÇSİS Political Party Portal (SIPPORT) of the headman’s district hanger lists and the Overseas Electoral Register prepared electronically, and hand delivery to the headquarters officials of the political parties (to be sent to the district presidencies of the political parties) in return for the minutes upon request (298/39). ),
6- Starting the work to establish temporary customs gate selection committees to work at the customs gates (298/94-E),
7- In order to be able to vote in mobile ballot boxes, voters who are bedridden due to their illness or disability begin to apply to the headman’s office with a mobile ballot box committee request form to be sent to the chairman of the district election board or the chairman of the district election board (298/14-17).
For presidential elections;
1- The last day of the candidates who want to be nominated by the voters for the presidential candidacy to the Supreme Election Board (17.00),
2- Completing the examination of the candidacy applications of those who want to be nominated by the voters for the presidential candidacy by the Supreme Election Board, and notifying the candidates of the shortcomings and those whose candidacy has been rejected (23.00).
For parliamentary elections;
1- Completion of the work to establish a pre-election district election board and notification to those who will take charge in the boards,
2- The Supreme Court of Appeals Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office completes the sending of the lists showing the party members who will vote in the primary election to the relevant district election boards and notifying the Supreme Election Board of this matter (2820/42),
3- Submitting the registration books of the political parties to the relevant pre-election district election board,
4- If political parties are going to conduct a nomination poll by a method other than all of their registered members, the last day for the members who will vote in this case to submit their voter lists together with the member registration books to the chairman of the relevant pre-election district election board (Political parties must prepare and submit these lists in four copies) (2820). /42-6)…
