“My hope is to make these changes to the organization as soon as possible in the year so that we can overcome this period of uncertainty and focus on the critical work ahead,” Zuckerberg said.

Thus, after the restructuring, Meta plans to lift the hiring freeze and transfers in each group.

Likewise, the company plans to complete this summer its analysis on hybrid work to further refine its distributed working model, as well as trying to keep a steady stream of developer productivity improvements and process improvements throughout the year.
