“Crazy Bear”: the incredible adventures of a bear fallen into cocaine

In September 1985, drug traffickers who had planned too heavy a cargo for their small plane were forced to throw everything overboard, above the forests of Tennessee. A bear unfortunately ingested an astronomical quantity of the white powder, to the point of dying of an overdose. This anecdote, real, gave birth to the legend of the Cokey bear, also nicknamed Pablo Escobear (bear is called “bear” in English).
