MV Govindan sends lawyer notice to Swapna Suresh; A compensation of Rs

Thiruvananthapuram: CPM State Secretary MV Govindan has sent a legal notice to Swapna Suresh for revealing that he pressured the Chief Minister and his family to withdraw the allegations in the gold smuggling case. The lawyer notice has demanded a compensation of Rs. The notice was sent through a lawyer in Thaliparam.

The notice states that Swapna Suresh has defamed her by making baseless allegations. The demand in the notice is to withdraw the allegation and apologize to avoid legal action. Lawyer notice has also been sent to Vijesh Pillai.

Earlier, Swapna revealed that a man named Vijesh Pillai had threatened her to withdraw the allegations against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and his family. Swapna alleged that Vijesh Pillai said that MV Govindan told him that if he did not leave Kerala, there would be no settlement later and his life would be harmed.
