Actress Swasika said that she did the movie ‘Chaturam’ thinking that she could think outside of her regular roles. Roshan Mathew went on to act in ‘Darlings’ from the sets of Chaturath. Swasika clarifies that she told Roshan to show the teaser of the film to Shah Rukh Khan.
From the sets of Chaturath, Roshan went on to act in the Hindi film Darlings. It is a project of Shahrukh and Alia team. He had told Roshan that at least the teaser of Chathur should be shown to Shahrukh, Alia or Karan Johar.
But he did nothing. OTT release was planned that day. Swasika says in an interview that after watching the film, she dreamed of what Shah Rukh Khan would call her. At the same time, the actress says that if she didn’t say yes to the movie Chaturam, she felt it would be a big loss.
I felt that I could think outside of the regular roles. But such a character was not expected. Wanted one like Sridevi did in Devraag. Working in this field for 13 years. But he did not reach a character that gave him self-satisfaction.
‘Vasanti’ was such a film but not many people saw it. Swasika says that if she didn’t say yes when the square came, she felt it would be a big loss. Chaturam, which hit the theaters on November 4, was released on OTT on March 9.
