What was an open secret is now official: Gianni Infantino, re-elected FIFA president. The act took place at the Annual Congress held in Kigali (Rwanda). The Swiss did not face any other candidate, so he will continue until 2027. This will be his second term and, therefore, he will be eligible for a third term until 2031.

“I remember when I came to Rwanda for the first time. Then he defeated in the second ballot, with 115 votes against 88, the sheikh of Baréin Salman bin Ibrahim al Khalifa.
