Jaffna. A gangster vehicle which was illegally loading sand in Vadamarachchi Vallipurakurichi area has lost control and crashed.
The driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a telecommunication pole when he was being chased by the Special Task Force (STF) who were engaged in a road raid.
Point Pedro police are seizing the vehicle and are conducting further investigations as the passengers fled the scene.
Meanwhile, the Special Task Force (STF) arrested the driver of a tractor that was illegally loading sand in the Kudathanai area this morning and handed him over to the Point Pedro Police.
