Murder in Haifa: A 31-year-old woman was found dead this morning (Friday) in a house in the city. The MDA team that arrived at the scene noticed the young woman unconscious and with signs of strangulation on her body, as well as bruises on her head from hammer blows. At the end of an initial examination, MDA paramedics and medics had to pronounce her dead. The young woman’s husband was arrested for questioning.
Large police forces from the Haifa station arrived at the scene, and at the initial stage the suspicion arose that the husband was involved in the murder. Earlier, the husband called MDA’s 101 hotline and reported that he had murdered his wife. An MDA team that arrived at the scene, along with police forces, found the young woman with signs of trauma on her body, all while their three children were staying at home. As a result of the violence he showed towards her, the death of the young woman was determined. The investigation continues.

MDA paramedic Shahar Atias said: “When we arrived at the scene, we joined the police forces and entered the apartment. The woman was unconscious with bruises on her body. We performed medical tests but she had no signs of life and we had no choice but to determine her death.”
