The Minister for Culture, Ernesto Villegas, reported this Thursday that the first meeting of spokespersons for Communes and Communal Councils was held at the National Art Gallery (GAN) in Caracas.
The information was released by Villegas through a post published on his official Twitter account where he explained that an agenda of struggle will be built that the Venezuelan people should appropriate. “We reiterate the commitment to the identity and cultural victory of Venezuela.”
He explained the importance of celebrating this event because the commune is fundamentally a cultural construction “that implies a transformation and a profound change in the way of conceiving the leading participation of the people.”
The minister reiterated the National Government’s commitment to jointly build an agenda of struggles for the cultural victory of Venezuela.
