For the first time in the history of world cinema, a Malayalam audio film is coming which tells the story through the perspective of a blind person. Titled ‘Blind Fold’, the film is directed by creative designer and filmmaker Benoy Karamen.
Unlike traditional filmmaking methods, the film reaches the audience with the help of advanced sound technology. The heart of the film revolves around the blind central character witnessing a murder and the tragic events that follow.
It is a film that guides the audience with only sound without visuals. Director Benoy Karamen says that the audience can enjoy ‘Blind Fold’ in the theater like any regular movie.
11 years of research and thought behind this film. The aim is to make a movie feel better through sound mixing, music and dialogue alone. The director clarifies that the story of the film progresses from the point of view of Rajan, a blind lottery seller in the city of Kozhikode.
The film is jointly produced by Intellectual Monkey Productions and luxury apparel brand Klum. Ajil Kurian and Krishnan Unni have done the sync sound and sound designing of the movie.
