On the way to winning? Only recently was the song chosen to represent Israel in the biggest singing competition in the world in Liverpool, and entered directly into the top ten. However, today (Friday) the song “UNICORN” by Noa Kirel, jumped in the betting table on the website “eurovisionworld” when it took the fifth place out of 37 countries.
In first place, if you were wondering, Sweden is still ranked with the song “Tatoo”, followed by Finland with the song “Cha Cha Cha”, and in third place is Ukraine, with the song Heart Of Steel by TVORCHI.
The semi-finals of the competition will take place on May 9 and 11, and the final will take place on Saturday evening, May 13. In November, the European Broadcasting Union announced that the decision regarding the semi-finalists will be determined only by the viewers at home.
The decision changes the method that has been used until today, in which the decision on the new arrivals was made by weighing the votes of the viewers along with the votes of the judges. However, the voting method in the final will remain as it was used in the past. Another decision that was made is that voting will be open to the whole world.
