The regular season of the National League came to an end today (Friday) with the 30th round that included several intriguing games, with the focus being the battle for entry into the top playoffs.
Hapoel Kfar Saba recorded a convincing 1:5 away win over Hapoel Nir Ramat Hasharon and will be in the top playoffs. After finishing 2:2 with Achi Nazareth in the closing minutes, Bnei Yehuda will also be included among the first eight, with Afula being the one left out. The Greens from Sharon finished the regular season in seventh place with 42 points in their balance sheet, the Oranges in eighth place with 41 points and Afula, who will play in the lower playoffs, finished in ninth place with 39 points.
In the first round of the top playoffs, Maccabi Pat will host Hapoel Acre while Hapoel Pat will host Hapoel Kfar Saba. In the second round of the top playoffs, they will meet each other for a heated derby. Maccabi PAT will end the season in an away match against Kfar Saba, and Hapoel PAT will end the season in an away match at Maccabi Kabilio Jaffa.
