Chennai: The Department of School Education has issued instructions regarding the steps to be taken to make the 50,000 students who were absent in the Plus 2 public examination appear for the supplementary examination.
Plus 2 public examination in Tamil Nadu started on 13th. 50,000 people did not write the language test on the first day. In this regard, a consultation meeting was held yesterday (March 16) under the leadership of School Education Minister Anbil Mahes Poiyamozhi. After this, the Minister told the press, “Easurement will be taken to solve this exam center wise. After the exam every day, it has been advised to take the information related to those who did not appear in the exam and find out the reason for it.
Instructions have been given to hold the school management committee meeting on March 24. This committee will be responsible for making the absent students to re-sit the examination. Steps will be taken to ensure that all of them write the exam in the next June exam. “Instructions have been given that all students should reach the stage of writing the exam in the 10th class examination that is about to begin,” he said.
In order to implement this, the State Program Director of Integrated School Education has sent a circular to all higher level and higher level schools to hold school management committee meetings on 24th and 10th April. He has also given various guidelines in this. Description of:
10th class exam meeting to be held on 24th:
- All 10th class students should make sure to write the exam.
- Students who are absent for long periods should be ensured to attend special training.
- After the examination every day, the information regarding the absentee should be collected.
- All of them should make sure to write the next exam.
Meeting on 10th regarding Class 12 Exam:
- A committee headed by the Headmaster should be formed to identify the students who did not appear in the examination.
- Counseling should be given to the students and parents who have not written the 12th class examination regarding the supplementary examination
- 14417 Help Center should be created awareness.
- A special coaching camp should be conducted at the school level to prepare for the supplementary examination.
- Parents and students should be made aware about public examination.
